Cheviot Primary School currently operates an Early Years Assessment ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision). This is provision provided by Newcastle Local Authority to enable children who have additional educational needs to be educated inclusively in mainstream school. The ARP is run under the same guidelines set out in the school SEN policy. The aim of the ARP is to assess the needs of the children we care for in order to successfully reintegrate children into mainstream school whenever possible.
