Trips
This half term, every class has enjoyed an exciting trip linked to their topics. Nursery and Reception visited the farm, with Reception also enjoying a day at the beach and the Aquarium. Year 1 explored the Centre for Life and Gosforth Nature Reserve, while Year 2 returned to the farm. Year 3 visited Belsay Hall, Year 4 explored Washington Wetlands, and Year 5 enjoyed trips to Beamish and the Great North Museum. Year 6 rounded things off with visits to the cinema and the beach. What a fantastic few weeks it’s been!
Educational visits are a valuable part of learning, helping to bring classroom topics to life and deepen pupils’ understanding through real-world experiences. They also support personal development, encouraging curiosity, independence and teamwork in new and exciting environments.
