Mrs Maitland (English Lead) and Mrs Waugh (Early Reading Lead) ensure that the teaching of phonics using Little Wandle and the use of Talk for Writing throughout school mean that children are well supported in the development of their reading, writing, and oracy.

Mrs Rutherford (Early Years Lead), Mrs Sands (Phase 2 Lead) and Mrs Maitland (Phase 3 Lead) support our staff to deliver exciting and interesting phonics, reading, writing and SPaG lessons all interwoven around a purpose.
